Female pelvic pain is a serious issue.

Female pelvic pain is acute if it is sudden and severe. It is chronic if it lasts months.

If you have pain with sex and intimacy, you have pelvic pain.

Further, if you have pain in your lower back, hips, or pelvis, you have pelvic pain.

If you have pain in your groin, tailbone, or genitals, you have pelvic pain.

Also, if you are pregnant with low back pain, you have pelvic pain.

If you are postpartum with low back pain, you have pelvic pain.

Female pelvic pain is common but not normal. You don’t have to live with pain in your pelvis.

How Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy Can Help with Female Pelvic Pain

Too many women don’t get the help they need when they see their doctors about pelvic pain. The truth is that treating pelvic pain requires advanced training and know-how. Most doctors don’t have that training.

At Restore Hope PT, Dr. Hope has extensive training in and experience in treating female pelvic pain. In fact, she has been working on women’s health issues for over 15 years.

Successfully treating female pelvic pain starts with your doctors listening to you. Unlike other providers who get you in and get you out, Dr. Hope sets aside plenty of time to listen to you. What you say is the most important part of your healing.

Dr. Hope focuses on listening to your experiences with female pelvic pain. She wants to know about how your pain impacts your family, work, lifestyle, exercise, sleep, stress, bathroom use, sexual function, and whatever else is important to you.
